Hello, lovely. My name is May and I am all about being confident, especially when it comes to makeup. Growing up, I never saw makeup as a way to mask or show a false version of yourself to the world. Rather, it was a way for me to tap into my artistic side and express myself, the face being the canvas. And sometimes, I really have no reason to wear makeup. I just like it. Or maybe I do want to mask everything because I'm not feeling myself. And that's perfectly fine. I'm all about doing what makes you feel good about yourself.

As for why I started this blog, I was bored and had too much time on my hands. I'm still bored but I'm trying to make the most of it by doing in-depth reviews, how-tos, and general discussion posts. I also have a terrible sense of humor that rears its ugly glitter-ridden head every now and then but I mostly try to keep things PG around these parts. Because I'm family-friendly, duh!
I will also have my friend Barrett to contribute posts every now and then. Because I like her and want her to stick around.
So if you're really into makeup or would like to start, this might not be the perfect place for you. But I can very well try :).
